Four Team members (Gary, Sara, Therin and Christine) took a day trip to Ranch 101 outside of Ponca City to get a daytime view of the grounds. The Ranch was founded in 1879, originally was well over 100,000 acres and was a city all its own. Original buildings included homes for employees as well as guests houses, a school, general stores, blacksmiths and other stores normally found in cities. 101 Ranch even had its own money. Buildings on the grounds today are remanents of the general store, a small home, a barn, a well tower, the "White House" and a jail across the highway. We did have digital recorders going but noise from wind and traffic negated any possible evidence. Photographs did not offer any unusual evidence. However, the basement of the "White House" did give two members some strange feelings.
The website, www.kaycounty.info/101_ranch/101headquarters.html has more information about the grounds. RIP Studies is currently working on contacting the association to gain permission to perform an investigation on the site. As always, we do not condone investigations performed without the permission of owners and will not trespass onto property which we have not been given authority.
