Doctor's Office

The Team performed an investigation at a doctor's office located in South OKC on February 17, 2007.  The Team consisted of Therin, Gary, Chuck, Jason, Christine, Sara and Ronda.  Also present was another member of the Team, the owner of the office and a guest of the doctor.  We began the investigation at 3:10 pm, the outside temperature was 55 degrees F, slightly cloudy, wind speed of 5 gusting to 20.

The office in question has had activity of orbs in several rooms (photographs supplied by the doctor), cold spots and smell of sulphur witnessed by the doctor, apparitions in an area no longer occupied by the office and adding machine tape piled on the floors when the office workers return in the morning.  The machines are battery operated and it was declared by the doctor and staff that they were turned off before leaving at night.  An employee has witnessed some of the activity.

Areas of activity include the lobby, main office and therapy rooms and seemed to have begun February, 2003 when the office was opened.  Most activity seems to be at night (with the adding machines) but activity has also been noticed at all times of the day.

History of the building:  The original owner passed away in September, 2002.  Previous tenant of the occupied space passed away January, 2003.

A preliminary EMF sweep was conducted by Jason and Sara.  The lobby, office, yellow room, red room, blue room and X-Ray room all tested negative.  The break room (which contained developing equipment for the X-Rays) had positive EMF near the refrigerator and microwave.  A back room contains the main breaker board for the office complex and therefore had some EMF activity.  The bathroom located across from the breaker board had some EMF spikes for which there was no accounting.

The Team noticed the smell of chemicals in the break room.  It was faint but noticeable.

A two-way was left in the examining room which the doctor said experienced the most activity.  The Team split up into three groups a divided time between the main office, the other two examining rooms and the back room.  While in the yellow room, Sara had the sense of an orb flying in front of her while Christine was taking a picture.  The picture was negative.  Approximately the same time, Chuck saw a flash in the back room.  While in the back room, Chuck, Jason and our other member had EMF spikes in the bathroom and both witnessed a shadow at the bottom of the threshold crossing on the other side of the closed door.  When questioned on two-ways, no one was in the area at the time.  Therin, Christine and Sara all heard whispers when investigating the back room, but it was dismissed due to thin walls.  Gary felt a presence in the main office along with coloration; Gary, Christine and Ronda all felt a wave of nausea and a temperature drop.  One member heard whispers in the front office but once again thin walls could produce a false positive.  Once all groups were able to spend time in the rooms, we left the building to discuss our experiences.  Left in the lobby was a recorder and two-way.  The Team members did notice two quick spikes in the EMF detector while standing in the middle of the lobby.  We were unable to copy the incidents.

The recorder and two-way left in the lobby caught two loud bangs followed by a transmission from the two-way which was inaudible.  None of the two-ways outside caught any transmissions.

Results:  1.  Anomalies in the backroom:  shadow figure, EMF spikes, light flashes; 2.  Anomalies in the lobby:  EMF spikes, recordings from Chuck's recorder; 3. Anomalies in the examining rooms:  orbs caught on photographs; 4. Anomalies in main office: nausea and temperature drop by three members, coloration and lights by one.

Findings:  Due to the chemicals stored and used in the break room, it has been determined that the smells sensed by the doctor and staff could be residual of X-Ray equipment.  The orb activity in photos provided by the doctor was taken during reconstruction and therefore could possibly be from dust in the air.  Orbs taken during our investigation were in closed, dark room and will be placed on this site for others to determine their validity.  Cold spots were found in the main office, which according to the doctor, was a favorite place of the previous renter.  This could not be explained.  There was no activity from machines.  There was, however, one interesting and unexplainable situation when we first arrived.  All lights and doors are shut when the office closes.  The main office door was open and the lights on when we arrived.  Possibly, they could have been left open and on when the office closed on Friday.

We would like to be able to go into the office again, possibly with a smaller Team, and see if results and activity are different.  We have no determination at this time on activity.
