Ghosts and the "art" of finding them is not a proven science; therefore, the equipment used by different teams varies greatly.  Some groups, like RIP, use scientific methods of investigation and equipment such as EMF detectors, IR thermometers and various digital recorders.  Other teams use methods of a religious means such as scences, Ouija boards and etheral studies.  While we are always open to new ideas, our main focus is on science.  Basic equipment RIP uses includes:  digital cameras, digital video cameras, 35mm cameras, night vision, digital voice recorders, EMF detectors, IR thermometers and IR extenders.  We are beginning our studies with thermal imaging and hope to produce evidence from our efforts soon.
